Should the rich share their wealth? We should think carefully about what we call u201crichu201d and what we call u201cshareu201d before answering this question.

So, what do we call u201crichu201d? Usually, when we are talking about rich people, we imagine a fat person with a kilo of gold chains and rings, with an expensive car and a big house in the middle of Moscow. We call this person u201ca new Russianu201d. But not every rich person looks like that. Many of them live in usual apartments, well renovated, many of them are just usual, nice people, who earn their living… they just do it more successfully than others. This is the difference!!! And these differences make us think that they are stupid, greedy or spoilt and consider themselves higher creations. That is why many people donu2019t like them…

Now letu2019s think about what we mean by u201cshareu201d. When we say this word, we usually think about giving something to somebody, right? Yes, itu2019s often so; but there are some little corrections: do we really want to give something to somebody if we earn it by our u201csweat and bloodu201d? Do we really like it? Of course many of us like to do it when we think itu2019s a sign of superiority, but on the other hand many people donu2019t want to even lend money, for example, because of greed… Yes, in many cases itu2019s the truth, but not always of course…

So, now we have a standard picture of two words: u201crichu201d and u201cshareu201d. But if we try to look on these words in another way, what should we see? The word u201crichu201d means a person with prosperity higher than usual, but the word u201cshareu201d we can understand as a u201ctaxu201d! Yes, we always have to pay different taxes, right? So we share with our government! And our government pays this money to the doctors, teachers, to the police, and etc. Following this logic, we understand that all people share their wealth by way of taxes! But, not everybody can take this money; not everybody has privileges and allowances to make our government pay something. Also our country usually taxes income and rich people pay much more money than poor or u201cusualu201d people. And I think thatu2019s the way they share their wealth.

On the other hand, rich people can share their wealth by way of charity! In this case it doesnu2019t matter what u201ckind of personu201d wants to do it. And, I think itu2019s a very good way of sharing our wealth. In conclusion I want to say that we canu2019t make someone share their wealth, only because this person has prosperity, excluding cases with the law.
