At present surrogate motherhood is becoming more and more popular issue for disputes in our society. This issue worries people because it is a new and unfamiliar notion for them, which, nevertheless, is becoming an integral part of modern life.


Frankly speaking, I don’t mind that surrogate motherhood exists because today many women cannot give birth to a child because of different reasons. Sometimes for such women the only chance to have a baby is to turn to services of surrogate mothers. As for my attitude to those women who act as surrogate mothers, I believe that I shall not judge, but I think that if a woman decides to become a surrogate mother, she has solid reasons, for example, I know that sometimes women help their relatives to become parents or try to improve their miserable financial situation in such a way. I’m definitely sure that such decisions women never take spontaneously. Children born in such a way do not differ from children born in traditional way. I’m sure you’ll never be able to define a test-tubed child in a group of children. Such children are absolutely normal.


Despite I approve surrogate motherhood, I think that I can never become a surrogate mother, because during these nine months, while a woman carries her child, this baby becomes a part of the woman; and after that I think it’s impossible to give the baby to another woman. But unfortunately sometimes women simply do not have alternative…
