It goes without saying that extreme situations are always remarkable and people keep them in mind for a long time. They usually call such situations “challenges”. But it doesn’t mean that people face challenges only in critical situations, small challenges accompany us daily.
Each of us has things he or she likes and dislikes to do. Commonly we have to make ourselves do the things we don’t want to do or the things which seem for us too difficult. Such things are usually put into cold storage and postponed till deadline. But when we finally do what we need it turns out that “devil is not so black as he is painted” and everything is easier than we think. It seems that the most difficult task is to start and make the first step.
Such small challenges which we face in day-to-day life help us to elaborate ability to concentrate and cultivate our will power. When we strain ourselves and accomplish at least one such unpleasant or complex thing every day we develop in ourselves insistence for attaining the goals, persistence and ability to pull ourselves up.
Daily life presents us with countless mini-tests which we can pass successfully or fail to cope with because of our laziness and fear of difficulties. These mini-tests can be estimated as opportunities for us to become stronger and more successful. They also draw us closer to our objectives and cherished dreams.
Frequently the importance of small day-to-day challenges is underestimated; we often even don’t notice them. Nevertheless, probably their significance and influence on our lives is much more important than influence of serious challenges and extreme situations which happen not so often.
